I am married with three children (16 year old boy, 8 year old girl and a 5 year old boy) and we live in Umoja 1 estate, I work as an online worker but currently I am working as a delivery guy since the pandemic has affected my main source of income. Further more, I sit in our church as a committee member and our role is to assist the clergy in implementing decisions that will benefit the whole church or suggest programs that will increase the relevance of our church in the community. I started several businesses to supplement my day job pay and give a good foundation to my family in terms of quality education and a high standard healthcare.
At the onset of the coronavirus pandemic, my main income generating activity was affected and I decided to join Glovo as a delivery guy. The current bike I am using has encountered mechanical issues and I am seeking support from the zidisha community to get an ex UK bike fitted with gears to concur some of the rough terrains in my locality. Thanks
Dear All,
I am looking to buy a handcart which I will lease it out to my colleague to transport water and sell in my surrounding neighborhood. In my locality, water for domestic use is a problem this is brought about by water rationing.
So my idea is to buy a hand cart and ten 20 liter containers to sell water. This in turn will create employment for my friend as well as have another income generating activity in addition to provide clean water for the community around me. I look to make an equivalent of $2.25 per day from the investment.
The cost of the hand cart is an equivalent of $100 while the ten containers will cost an equivalent of $35.
Do not hesitate to ask questions and I look forward to your positive feedback.
Thank you!
