About Me
Am an ambitious young man from kenya looking to take my business and education to the next levels.I always did well in school.I qualified to get to college after completing secondary school two years ago but haven't done that yet due to financial constraints at home.I love computers hence want to pursue computer engineering.I have already started to learn coding online.I looked for a job and got one as a shopkeeper where I worked for an year.I saved enough money to start a printing business which took a lot of sacrifices.I bought a computer for $300, printer for $260and a camera for $80.I wish to expand my business by starting printing garments and selling stickers.I also believe am gifted in entrepreneurial skills unlike majority of youngmen around.
My Business
At my business I offer the following services: instant passports, photocopy, printing of school and work IDs and other printing services and internet services.I chose this business because this is an urban place(nyahururu) with a good number of people moving to offices looking for jobs and others seeking government services at the sub county headquarters here.All of these people will require photocopy and instant passport services.Am looking forward to adding garment printing and sticker selling services since there are no kind of businesses at my home town and the population here is youthful where the market is full of garments that are branded which are imported from the country's capital, Nairobi.The culture around here is branding public service vehicles and motorbikes with no one doing that any where near from big cities like Nakuru and Nyeri.I get around $500 a month use $4 for licence, $70 for business house rent, $150 for my upkeep (house rent inclusive), $50 to pay for internet and the rest support my family and also save some for re investing.
Loan Proposal
I look forward to using this loan for purchase of vinyl materials for my vinyl cutter machine and inks for my screen printing kit which prints t-shirts and other fabric. The vinyl materials go for around $25 and the inks around $30. This purchase will help in utilising the vinyl cutter machine which I wasn't using for lacking the materials.I expect my profit to increase by around $70
