About Me
My name is kate Asuamah, and I am 24 years old. Despite the long distances, I always attended school. I went to Senase Primary School, which was 6km away from my home and Sireko Secondary School, which was 10km away. I always worked hard in school and earned good grades. I attended Bukura technical college and earned my diploma in Agriculture in 2015. I am currently pursuing a degree in Agribusiness management at Egerton University.
My Business
I run a medium sized farm that I intend to expand in the future. I grow fresh and healthy leafy vegetables, including cabbage and kale, in addition to other fruits and vegetables (e.g. tomatoes and capsicum).
Because of the high population, demand for goods is also high. My farm is well known, and I have a high level of phone orders for delivery.
I am in the farming business because it is profitable and easy to balance with my studies. I use the money to pay for my university fees.
