I am third born in a family of six. I joined nursery school at the age of 6. I did well in school, and was in the top3 in my class from grades 1-8. After primary education, I could not join the school of my choice because my late father could not afford tuition. I ended up going to a day school in the village.
After secondary education, I wanted to join Ghana African School for Aviation. However, my father had passed away and my uncle could not manage the fees. Instead, my uncle got me a job as a messenger. After that, I worked in the Engineering department, where I worked a lot on computers. I also learned to drive, and was then able to apply for a job at another firm as a driver. However, the company gave me a shop assistant role, which is more based in sales. This is my source of income is.
My business is a registered IT products company. My main clients are NGOs. I chose to go into this business because I have sales experience at two good IT firms. Also, I believe technology is running lives today and IT products are always in demand. I have an office and computer, where I have correspondences with my customers. I always supply orders after quoting, which means I don't easily make losses. Most of my payments are on 30 day credit period.
The revenue I get goes mostly towards school fees, rent, bills, and reinvestment.
