About Me
My name is Daniel Chilekwa and am 22years old. I live in Kabwe town, situated in Makururu Compound. I started my primary school at David Lumushu and completed my secondary school at Kalonga Secondary right in Kabwe town. After I completed school, I started running my business and this was after receiving youth empowerment fund from the government of the republic of Zambia. I registered my business in 2022. I ran my business by trade name called Kings life Starshop Limited. Am a full time entrepreneur and business is located at Kamanda Market in Makururu township. I have always had a passion for business because I come from a background of business men and women in our family. Harding has been one of the important key factor for me to establish and settle in business today. One of the greatest and amazing thing about our culture is that most people relate to each other very well by taking care of each other. In future, when my children finish their school. I would like my children to be educated and become prominent people in society.
My Business
My business is well registered. I have a shop were I sale food staffs. In my shop I sale different types of food staffs which I sale both on wholesale and retail. I provide fish, sausages, chickens, eggs, milk, sour, beef, drinks and distribution of potatoes. Generally the good I sale in my shop are consumables and most people them every day. Am involved food staff because I generate income every day. In food business there is good money and good profits. The generated profits I use them for reinvestment to grow and expand the business. However, some profits I use them to improve the living standard of my family and also save some in my bank account for future investments.
Project Proposal
I need funds for the transportation of goods at the border. I bought some beverages, eggs and other foods staffs to stock in my stars hop limited. The goods have been out of stock and demand is increasing from the customers. I have a short fall of funds hence I need additional funds to hire a truck and trailer to pick the goods. These goods a highly profitable and once stock up, they will generate good profits and expand the business.
