I am a villager.I was brought up in the village in the 70's and 80's and only came to the city in 1991 after failing to get enough A level points to get me to university and my family unable to get me anywhere else.so my grandma sold a banana and gave the hundred shillings train fare to Nairobi. I came attended a theater academy audition and passed and have worked in the theater or related field of sound and lighting technician/operator and Deejay .
My son (7 yr old) wants to be a pilot when he grows up so he can be a hero saving people needing medical attention in remote places.
i provide deejay music and Public address systems to conferences and events. My typical cost are transport Kshs 2 000 and hire of sound equipment Kshs 10 000 per event per day.I make a profit of between Kshs 7 000 and 12 000 per event per day.I want to own my own equipment to start making more so i can reinvest and grow the business,my dream being to have a set of equipment upcountry to keep the youth there busy.
I chose this business because this is where i am most networked in
i will be having two gigs this weekend so will need reliable transportation to be able to keep. Saturdays in this city is all activities day -weddings galore and other parties-so traffic is at standstill,to beat this you cannot be ordering for a taxi wen you are ready to leave -it has to be on standby right there already.this loan will help me secure one. Thanks
