Caren Akinyi Owino born in Mombasa more than 40 years ago. I attended both primary and secondary school in Western kenya and then later on joined college in the university of Nairobi.
I am in community work with a group called Erishina which is community based organisation in Kajiado West where we make beads, sandals ,African baskets and attires which we later sell to earn some money.
I do business of selling the beads , sandals, clothes by selling to my network through word of month and even social network.
Also earn through a small farm at home which is managed by one of my relatives in the village.
Am also in merry go around groups which we contribute to every month and each month one member is given a certain amount of money.
am also in a cooperative sacco and get dividends atleast once in a year.
Once in every three month a get allowances given to me plus salary from my formal work as I do my business as a side hussle.
I will use the money for transport expenses to ferry my goods from one place to another. This will help me get it to the individuals who I make artefacts for. This will also be useful for communication purposes as I will use it to buy airtime. five hundred shillings will be used for transport purpose two hundred and fifty for airtime the rest will be mobile transaction fees.
