About Me

I am currently a freelance graphic designer having passed through Kenyatta University and successfully completed the curricular. I was born 26 years ago in an orphaned family of eight. We struggled to go through the educational system until completion. While in campus was forced to do odd jobs to cater for my tuition and accommodation, while at the same time taking care of my siblings too. I managed to get a few internships while in college and got inspired in the process to become an entrepreneur myself. I am currently pursuing this course and hence am struggling to raise capital to be self dependent and start the business on my own. I am an ambitious, hardworking and self motivated youth and the sky is the only limit I have right now. Am looking forward to invest more in design and building a future world changing design hub that will revolutionize design in East Africa and Beyond.

My Business

I do freelance design and I get a minimum of two clients per week. I do design Magazines, Newsletters, Brand Manuals, Catalogs, Brochures, Logos, e-shots, Web Banners and Footers. In addition I also illustrate and design book covers too for literature books and other Novels. I have a page online www.facebook.com/kenyalogos where part of my portfolio can be found. In the current world every communication is done through print outs that have to be branded hence graphic design is essential to make this happen. Every company or business must have their own brand identity, they must communicate and regularly to stay relevant to their consumers, and therefore everyone in business is a potential client to us. I chose this line of business out of passion for design and through market analysis too. My monthly revenue is in the region of 500 - 650 USDs currently but with enormous capability of expansion, so am looking to increase this to 2000 USDs before end of this year. I spend a major part of the profits in upkeep, business expansion and helping out my siblings.

Loan Proposal

I am an ambitious, hardworking and self motivated youth and the sky is the only limit I have right now. Am looking forward to invest more in design and building a future world changing design hub that will revolutionize design in East Africa and Beyond. I would use the money to add up to the savings I have to install internet to help boost search for online clientele.
