About Me

My Name is Daniel Barasa from Nakuru, Kenya. I am a young man of 25 years. I schooled up to form four in 2009 and i couldnt proceed to college because of financial problems. I am the eldest son in a family of six siblings and i am currently practicing tomatoe farming as a way of earning some income for myself.

My Business

My Business

In my business, i an a tomatoes farmer. I have a small piece of land where i grow tomatoes and harvest them then sell in nearby markets as a vendor. Sometimes villagers themselves come to my farm to buy the tomatoes, sometimes when the harvest is realy good i even sell the tomatoes on wholesale to other retailers. I chose to do this kind od business because i have sufficient knowledge of how to do it and also because the demand for tomatoes is alwasy high because tomatoes are basic household foodstuffs. I earn roughly Ksh. 6000 per month from this business which i use to support myself and my siblings. I also save Ksh. 700 per month for my future goals.

Loan Proposal

I will use the loan to buy fertilizer and pesticides and insecticides that i need to apply on my tomatoes so that they can grow healthy and enable me have a good harvest when the time comes. With the good harvest, i will be able to sell and make good profits.
