My name is Emmanuel. I am a farmer of Mkushi district. I grow maize which I sell to the national food association. I am married to Christine and we have two children.

I am a farmer of Mkushi district. I grow maize which I sell to the national food association.

My first crop has grown and is ready for harvest. The profits that I will make from the sell of the maize would be used to repay my Zidisha loan. I will also buy seeds and fertilizers for the next crop which I plan to plant next week.

Loan Proposal

I plan to use the loan to purchase two cows which will be used for milking.

The cows will help to supplement our other sources of income at the farm such as crops and vegetables.

Income Source

I sell crops and vegetables and this has allowed me to grow my business and to repay back my loans.

The cows will bring in the much needed income for my family and help us to improve our livelihoods.
