Am Yeboah Evans. Am a level 400 student at Valley View University, Techiman-Campus. Am from Kumasi but currently staying at Techiman because of school. My Dad passed away when I was 18 years, so it has always been my mother who has been taking care of me till now. She sells charcoal. Is through this business that she has managed to pay my tuition fee. Currently I sells books and pens to schools around Techiman and it's environs. I have tried to save little money from this business. I have 4 siblings, 2 boys and 2 girls. Am the oldest. Things has been very difficult since I was born till now. Is through this business that my brothers are going to school. My mom is weak now and she can't do the charcoal business anymore. I go rounds during Friday's to supply the schools books. Is my dream to expand my business to employ people and to help my brothers reach where they want to.
Am into stationery. I sell books and pens to government schools in my locality and also sends some to a village called kramokurom in the western region in Ghana. The level of education of the people living at that village is very low so, the headmasters of that schools do call me every term to supply them with reading books, exercise books and pens. I normally hire a taxi and a driver. They take me to that place. I pay him and his car 60 dollars for every two weeks. We normally spend month at that village which cost me huge amount. Because the near by stationary price is high, they prefer buying mine instead of theirs.
First I have created business for the driver because I pay him every 2 weeks.
Secondly, knowledge has been impacted into the children's brain. This business has really brought nothing but change into my life.
I will use it to pay my school fees so that i can reach my goals in future.i will also use some to continue my junior brother who has completed junior high school and he is still in the house
