I used to be a lecturer before running a business. At the time when I proposed a scholarship at university I worked for further study, there was no program available. Therefore I save for sometimes to support myself to study. After finishing studying I would rather do business as practical experience in business is also important. Moreover, practical business is significant to support theory especially in relation to case studies.
I run this business for 1 year and 4 months. The business is focus on frozen foods from various brand such as Fiesta, Champ , Kanika, Cedea, SO GOOD, Belfood, Besto, Bratwurst. After a few months running I became a partner of PT Charoen Pokphand Indonesia, Fiesta and Champ brand manufacturer. I am also a partner of frozen foods companies such as PT Citra Dimensi Arthali and Cimory. They are manufacturers of Crab Claw, Salmon sausage, Besto and Kanzler sausage. I sell the products in the store as pack food and open stall in a school canteen for cooked meal besides that I deliver pack food monthly cash and carry to the Cooperative Kopassus, Cijantung . This business is profitable because of frozen foods currently on the rise in line with the increase in people's income. Consumers today tend to choose the fast food to make life is easier especially for those who work in the office who does not have time to cook themselves while they do not have a maid at home .

I have been in business for more than 1 year and now in the second years running. The demand for retail food is varieties such as sausage, nugget, seafood. Customer has its own favourite when he chooses the item while brand from one item derived from different producer. Meat or chicken sausage produced by PT Charoen Pokphand Indonesia, SO GOOD, Belfoods or Cimory and so nuggets and seafoods. I have limited resources in term of financial availability as consequences I could not deliver order from my customer until cash coming in for fresh stock. In order to increase sale I would need financial support or loan to add volume of stock. As I mentioned above that one item has many brands and from different producer, until now I could only order from producer some of them because of limited funding I have. The other thing that makes this business is prospective, my shop location is in between traditional market which some products are unavailable with them and about 100 meters is Supermarket which is the price for the same product 10 -13 percent much more higher.
