About Me

Owusu charles is my name, am 25 years old, a native of Goaso, a town in Ghana.I started my basic education at Hope preparatory school and also attended Amaniampong senior high school. Due to my excellent performances through hard working i passed the west african certificate examination with distinction. After my secondary education I was then employed to work as a teacher at my former basic school, since everyone in my community adores me because of my respect for people and good behaviour. I live in Goaso and the main occupation of the people are farming and petty trading.Due to the low standard of living and high illiteracy rate, the people have less knowledge about health and therefore most of them normally die of minor ailments. Again, most of them die as a result of lack of money to afford hospital bills. All my life i wanted to do something that will have a positive impact on people's live especially those in my community.I therefore proceeded to college of health, kintampo to pursue physician assistanship to be able to assist my community in term of health. After my college education, I was posted to Goaso municipal hospital to do my internship, With the little money accumulated and experience i had during my internship i have established my own private clinic in my community. My hobbies are drawing and reading.

My Business

As a young physician assistant, I have just started running a private clinic in my community. My main aim is to increase access to health for my people in the community, I established the clinic to help people seek early intervention to disease that the people in my community are comfronted with and to prevent complications and preventable mortality. My facility operates 24 hours everyday to make sure the people are always served at their own satisfaction. My good relationship with people always attract them to opt for the facility in times of needs. Since I started the facility I have successfully managed conditions like cholera, malaria, gastroenteritis, dysentery, helminitiasis and other minor diseases. The facility also offer preventive treatment through public health education and immunization. The main reason why I need financial assistance is to enable me to purchase enough drugs to meet the demands of the people and also to provided quality care for my community. Am now financially handicaped and the amount i have in my account is not enough to buy more drugs to adequately stock the clinic. A hands that helps in the development of other shall surely be blessed, that is why am putting in more effort to help myself and the people of my soceity. In fact after the establishment of my clinic, mortality and morbidity rate has drastically reduced due to frequent prompt treatment and health education i offer to the people who comes to my facility to access health care and the people in the community about the cause of their condition and also preventive measures. within a month, i make a profit about 65$ to70$ which i reinvest in the clinic and also support the family and the community.
