About Me

I am Cecilyne Wanjala age 27 years .Am the fourth born in the family of four.I started my education the 1993 at Starlight Academy Kitale .the life was tough because our guardian was grandmother who was everything to us our parents died when i was 1 year .The situation was cumbersome, sometimes i could go hungry,it forced the well wishers to chip in to support where necesary_ In all the situation i used to work hard academically to make sure the i overcome the odds however the was unbearable.My teachers i was in , they were close to me to make sure that i maintain my academic standard.whenever i could need something i could face some of the teachers to support me .- the school fee was major problem when iwas in upper classes especially class 7 and 8 ,i was chased most of the time.The headteacher who was there since i started my education was transffered .The one who replaced him was someone who could not understand.But all in all i did my standard eight the year 2004,I scored B- which was excellent grade it was my biggest achievement so far. Little did i know that i still have long way. It took me a year to oin secondary school. That one year almost killed my ambition.Latter on i joined Sipala secondary school at western part of Kenya .In form one i worked hard still i was the best student in class throughout my academic year i survived on bursary fund which latter on i started experiencing hardship since the person who was assisting me for bursary application was sacked now to raise fee was a problem. I dropped school in form three that is the year 2009. Immedietely after getting out of school i started to look for a job sustain me ,i landed a job at Nairobi as a house help my boss came to understand my background she was very sorry and she treated me kindly after one working my boss i quit the job since i was trying to solicit capital start my own business since i had no any paper for me to apply a job at a better place.I started the business of food retail,making chapati and dough nut which gained popularity .The experience i have up to now is what is sustaining me the profit that has raised has helped me to sustain myself and also expanding my business. Right now i have also opened a retail shop.- Recently i was introduced to zidisha with one of my friend who is Silas that is why i decided to join zidisha. - In our land what is unique is polygamy ,people being idle because they are not engaging in productive projects.- I have two kids Austine and Glen age 8 and 6 respectively Austine want to be doctor and Glen want to be pilot.- My hobby is to take my kids out foot for a distance of 3 kilometers that is enough exercise ,also i do use my partime to do outside catering.

My Business

I do provide food retail because my ambition was to work in a hotel industry.Generally i like cooking .where i stay is near Kibabii university and the population has increased.The students like take away food.due to time they have is limited to prepare food for themself. -During my childhood i dreamed to be news broadcaster but the hardship i encounter could not allow me to reach my goal.I remember my brother was so ambitiuos he was dreaming to work in airport and right now he is there at jomo kenyatta international airport although he has not reached the level he intended to. My elder sisters have tried there level best to maintain dream line.FOR me the situation was hard until i decided to do whatever my hands can do. Am working hard to make sure that my kids reach achieve there goals
My business is as follows; i do purchase wheat flour @ a cost $17.78 per bale and for 3 bale it cost $51 plus - cooking oil 20kg @ a cost of $26.7 fuel[charcoal 1 bag @ $10 PROFIT per 1 bale is $40 times 3 $120 the profit i get it sustain me on basic needs in my house school fees and also reinvest in business .It has helped me to open the retail shop

Loan Proposal

The proposed amount $148.28 am going to purchase as follows wheat flour 4 bale $70.4 cooking oil
40litres $53.4 charcoal 2bags $20 .Since the population is increasing so fast as per the intake of the students ,i want to meet the demand.so it will force me to employ two ladies to assist me at my work place that will be creating employment The much i expect from my business $120 to$350 profit
