About Me

My name is Patricia Soudi, a resident of Dodowa, Accra-Ghana. I am a nurse who just completed Nursing Training in Mon Reve Nursing Institute and I am waiting to be enrolled by the government. I am currently working with PEG Solar as their Direct Sales Representative (DSR) and working with Star Time alongside as their marketer.

I am a single mother, a mother of one child. As a child, my parents struggled to take care of us. This was because my dad lost his job and my mom had to take care of us single-handedly. That did not even stop me from going forward. At age 12, I started working and taking and supporting my siblings. It is through that hard effort that I can call myself a nurse today.

We are a family of 7 and we love and support each other to achieve our dreams. I have a son now who is in class 3 and I am doing everything possible to support him to go further in education since I was not privileged. I enjoy reading, singing and cooking. I belong to the Assemblies of God musical group where I demonstrate my gift and talent in singing. People love it when I sing at church.

My Business

I work with PEG Solar as their Direct Sales Representative (DSR) and with Star Time alongside as their marketer. In Ghana, most people are not privileged to have light in their homes and therefore PEG Solar is doing everything possible to help the less privileged Ghanaians so that everybody can have access to light. Light is among the basic necessities of life; therefore, it is very important to help everybody to have one. With Star Times, we make decoders very affordable to the people as compared to the ones in the market.

As Direct Sales Representative (DSR), I roam from homes to homes, villages to villages, cities to cities so that I can make my sales. Payment (commission) is based on the total sales you make at the end of the month. Alongside PEG Solar, I work with Star Time to make their presence in Ghana be known.

There is high demand for the solar product, especially in areas where there is no electricity. My product is purely based on solar, so the people like to buy it, since they know that they have the right to pay back how they want it. The payment structure is flexible.

Loan Proposal

I am Patricia Soudi and I sell solar light product in my community. I would like a financial support to increase my inventory. One solar kit cost $260 each that comes with three bulbs, a solar panel, one torch light and one solar radio. People love this product just because it is one time investment and its payment is very flexible.
Over the years, I was able to take care of my son through this business and it has a great potential to succeed because the diverse benefit the users derived from it is unbelievable. Thank you all once again for all your previous support and encouragement. God bless you all.

Loan was originally scheduled to take two months. Patricia persevered through the pandemic and completed the loan after seven months. Well done and continued good wishes.

Loan was originally scheduled to take two months. Slow sales led to some reduced payments, but the loan was paid off in less than three months. I am pleased to be able to help with such a worthy project.

Thank you very much Peter for your post.
Just want to thank you all for the short time I stayed with this wonderful family. For some reasons I don't know but Zidisha ejected me.
But I appreciate you all. for your help.

Sorry business is slow. Please get in touch with Zidisha and ask for reduced payments (and a longer term for your loan.) This will preserve your good credit score, which is very important.

Hi Patrica - great to hear sales are picking up, i'm sure you are working hard to make that happen. Also just want say how much all your lenders appreciate that you still kept up with the repayments when sales were low. You're doing a great job at continuing to build confidence with those lenders on Zidisha. Respect. Wish you continued success.. Erik
