I am Hassan Mlala. I live in Rabai in Kilifi county. I am the sixth born in our family.I did my secondary education exam in 2007 and later on joined Mazeras Polytechnic and did electrical and electronic course.I now use my electrical skill to obtain my daily needs. However due to low wages around, I have a small business of selling clothes. My intention is to modernise my boutique still here in Jimba to boost my current earnings of $120 to at least $200 per month. I believe if i will be given this loan i will be able to accomplish this and make my living more better.
I hope you are doing good and I thank you for coming with such idea that aimed in empowering Kenyans economically. For a long time, I have been having a personal business to supplement my electrical installation & repair jobs income but capital has been the major challenge.
However, my intention is to stock my small boutique in my area of residence.
I believe this is untapped venture as residents in my area are forced to travel a long distance( bus fare of $3 ) at least to buy trendy clothes.
Getting the support to 'style up' the business will go a long away in reducing the time wasted by many in going to next big town, Mariakani , in search of the more stylish clothing designs. This loan of $150 will be used to buy 24 pieces of latest ladies wear that will ensure me an additional earning of $50 per month.
Looking forward for a strong partnership in promoting my business. My good friend, Samuel Shehi, has already benefitted & expanded with loans from Zidisha. I believe I can grow my business for the better too.
I would like to buy more stylish clothes after i get the loan. This loan will enable me attract high-earning residents like teachers & nurses buy from me these costly designs. This loan of $150 will be used to buy 24 pieces of latest ladies wear that will ensure me an additional earning of $50 per month. In return, my business will make more profit & increase my support towards my family needs. In fact, my young brothers will concentrate more at school since I will be paying their school fees on time. Later, I plan to employ one more worker once the boutiqu has grown.
