I am the third born in a family of five aged 24 years. I completed my studies and joined my mother in her farming activities due to some financial problems which could not allow me continue with my studies. However, the agriculture has fared so well that I now look forward to commercialize it. I currently practice mixed farming whereby I farm different types of crops including potatoes, maize, beans and vegetables. I have also started a small poultry rearing project and have a great plan to expand it.
I am practicing mixed farming whereby I have a poultry rearing project as well as farming. The land is located on a sloppy place with a small all weather stream running at the boundary. This has facilitated vegetable farming by making it easier to water them using a jerrycan every morning and evening.
I therefore intent to buy some more seeds for the vegetables (cabbages and kale). I will also be in a position to cultivate a larger portion of land. I will also use the funds to purchase fertilizer and insecticide to spray at the early stages.
I therefore call upon you all to support me so as to achieve my goals. I will work in ultimate effort to ensure the growth of Zidisha through all aspects.
Dear Lenders,
I will utilize the loan to buy more seedlings for my farming project. I will also use part of the money to buy fertilizer. This will greatly improve my output and therefore, I will be in a position to repay the loan in time. I have a good portion of land located in a flat landscape near a all season stream which provides a good opportunity to farm vegetables and tomatoes. I have divided it into small portions where I will plant different types of crops on a rotational basis to manage risk. With this start up, I believe i will continue to develop with an aim to venture into large scale production in future.
I hereby appreciate each of you in taking part to go through my proposal and assisting me in making my dream come true.
