About Me

ABOUT ME
I was born in Tamale, in the northern region of Ghana in 1989, I attended both elementary and S.H.S education in Tamale
as well. I never found life easy in terms of financial issues throughout my childhood. My father was a peasant farmer growing cereals in Kumbungu in the Northern region. My mum was selling vegetables in Tamale central market. My mum helped my dad very well in managing the family. My parents earnings was very meager.

Senior High School education was in my mind and i will never forget those difficult moments. I virtually depended on friends for my survival to pursue the four (4) year Bachelor's Degree .
I lost my mum and dad before my tertiary education. I farmed maize and yam just to raise money for my tertiary education. I succeeded in raising that school fees which actually helped me a lot.

having farmed, I raised money and establish locally made sandals and clothing business. I raised US$ 700.00 and started dealing in men clothing and locally made foot wears, but today, my capital is about US$ 1000.00. For the past 3 years my livelihood depends solely on this clothing and sandals business.

Damba festival is a unique festival celebrated by the Mole Dagomba people who dwell in the northern part of Ghana.
It is an interesting festival during which drumming and dancing dominates among other things.

Since I am single, I hope that my children yet unborn will grow up to witness their father running a business empire within Tamale and its enclave.
I like watching wildlife documentary on television at home. I also play football at home during weekends as a way of exercising my body.

My Business

MY BUSINESS
I have opened a boutique in Tamale.
I sell men clothing of all kinds and men footwear as well. In Tamale, not only women like fashionable clothing but men also patronize such clothing. The sandals and clothing business is quiet good in Tamale and I ventured into the Boutique business with determination and passion.
Usually, I may use US$900.00 to purchase goods. I usually impose 10% returns on all items.

A section of the returns is allocated for utility bills every month. Part for settling my workers and debts.
I have paid all monies due me to zidisha lenders. I am looking forward to lenders of this great interest free organization to see me through, thank you.

Loan Proposal

I wish to apply for a zidisha loan of US$ 190.00 for the purpose of buying locally made sandals for resale to my customers. I run a boutique selling men clothing and sandals as well. My stock of clothing is worth US$ 200.00 as at 30th June, 2016. However, I recently ordered for men sandals from my supplier and the patronage was good and remarkable. A pair of sandals costs US$ 5.00 to US$ 9.00 and selling price ranges from US$ 10 to US$ 15.00 in Tamale. The price of a pair of sandals depends on it size and quality.
This loan will help me to increase my goods in stock and increase my sales as well, leading to increase in profit margin. My profit margin may increase by US$ 5 per sandals. I pledge to abide by zidisha terms and conditions regarding its loans.
My regards to all members of zidisha community especially lenders.
Thanks!

I will first of all express my profound gratitude to this benevolent financial organization (Zidisha) and the entire management crew, the philanthropists and all who matter in the running of this great financial entity.
I received my loan of GHC 2,345.00 on the 19th of December 2017, in fact, I am most grateful for that wonderful support my lenders; Mr. Paul Buchheit, Madam Carla and Mr./Madam Chrisherro, have offered me.

    Thank you all.

I must first of all thank the entire Zidisha team for their enormous support for the less privilege ones in some of the global societies, particularly the African society.

This funds Ghc2345.00 would help boost my business performance in terms of profit making and for that matter the survival and growth of the business. I am going to reinvest this sum of money into the business so as to maximize my stock to be able to meet the demand of my customers/consumers. Am running a Boutique business in clothes (men clothes), but this Zidisha support is something I solely invest into locally made sandals, into which this particular funds will be reinvested for the sustenance and growth of the business.

Once more I cannot thank the management of this benevolent organization enough for their dedication, sacrifices and hard work in all these years since the start of this reputable organization.
I do not know of any words that can best describe my gratitude to the entire Zidisha crew especially the lenders; Mr. Paul Buchheit, Madam Carla and Mr./Madam Chrisherro, for their unflinching support for me.
I thank you all, and may God richly bless you all. THANK YOU.

First of all, per the good work lenders and all the crew in the management of this reputable financial organization are doing, I consider it highly necessary to always accord them the gratitude for the benevolent services they have been rendering to beneficiaries, therefore I wholeheartedly thank whoever matters in the running of this organization.

The loan I took really helped my business growth, I have been able to move the business to a higher level in terms of both stock and profit marging, and that has further boosted my confidence in Zidisha.

Before I was given the loan, I used to make a net average profit of about GHC 500.00 monthly, but I currently make a little over GHC 600.00 every month, and this is why I can't stop thanking Zidisha.
Once again, I thank you all for the support, and may God bless you all.

I first of all want to apologize for my inability to pay my weekly installment in the recent couple of weeks. That was as a result of my inability to access internet after I was involved in a motor accident and was sent to a deprived community for local treatment.

I give thanks to God for surviving me from the accident, I would also like to extend my gratitude to the management of Zidisha for keeping alive their support for me so far.

The business is seeing the light of the time, even better than ever, and for this reason I think it requires more investment to achieve more success.
    THANK YOU.

I must first of all express my profound gratitude to the Zidisha microlending community for accepting and funding my loan application. This could not have been possible without the collective efforts of the management and the benevolent persons in the community.

I am very glad to be notified that my loan application has been fully funded. This will further strengthen my purchasing power as I will be buying more of the locally made sandals to stock my boutique, and that will also enable me or pave way for market expansion.

I must reiterate my appreciation and gratitude to the crew of this community, especially my lenders for being very supportive to me since I came into this community.
Once again, I thank you all for being very supportive to us, more especially to our lenders.

    THANK YOU.

Zidisha micro credit lender has boost my business spirit since the first day I was accepted into the community. Although I have just finished my first loan repayment, I am still confident in the benevolent persons in this community, with the support of these personalities my business will grow even beyond expectation.

On average, I make a monthly profit of US$150 of which I pay my two employees and for electricity bills. I always reinvest the net profit into the business.

I thank management of this community, and I also thank our lenders very much for their benevolence.
THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR KINDNESS.

I wish to adjust the current installment to meet the initial scheduled time/month(that is April, 2017), per the first installment I earlier committed to paying(Ghc 20).
I was expected to finish this loan in April 2017, next month, which I am still working to fulfill.

My business is flourishing than ever before, and I hope, and keep making effort so as to improve the market.

However, to be able to achieve the aforementioned target, I need more capital which I hope benevolent persons in the Zidisha community will help in making a reality and a success.

my gratitude to the lenders in this non-profit organization cannot be underestimated. I therefore still thank my lender(s) enormously for the kind support, and I still hope for more support from Zidisha.
    THANK YOU ONCE AGAIN.
