I am farmer and also employed as secondary school watchman.I have a wife and ten children: the second, a girl, is married while the rest are in school.I am a mixed farmer [that means I plant maize and beans together] and when i harvest i sell the produce to the neighbourhood to afford the childrens fees. I always happy with the job I do because then I see what I plant grow well I know I will have a profit. I actually happy with my family when I know there is some plenty of food to feed my family and also the children I see them studying well in school.
In my farm I dig terraces because of soil erosion and to see there is no weed in my crop which I plant in my garden the harvest I receive it at the end of the year it is about Ksh 30,000 after I deduct for the expenses I use it in my farm for buying ferterizer and seed also labour job for cultivating I remain with Ksh 500 which I spent for school fees for my children. I took my product for about 5 kilometers for sell in mitimingi center and the people who buy my product because it is a good product.
The loan will help me for buying standard seed fertilizer and other input in my land.I have confidence about paying the loan because i have experience in borowing and paying but at the moment i have no other loan.
The extra earning i will buy hens for adding a business in selling eggs. The profit i will get from my job and business will help my family to educate my children.
