My name is George Ochieng.
I reside at Kaptembwa Nakuru and I am married with Two kids.
I was not able to complete my O level due to fees problem.
I only managed to go up to form two and I joined tailoring lessons since 2004 to 2006.
later I was employed as a tailor until 2010 when i started my own tailoring shop with little savings I had accumulated.
The post election experienced in our country in 2007 caused massive loss to my business as all my business assets were looted and I had to start again.
My business is involved in designing new clothes.
Majority of my clients lives in Kaptembwa which is Slum area
The business on average earns 1000 to 1500 per day
December holiday and school opening is the time I make more sales which goes up to to 2000 per day.
My family depend entire on my income.
it is very hard to expand my business and that is why i need 40,000 to purchase new sewing machine and add material at my business
with that capital I can raise my income to an Average of 2000 and above
The loan will be used in the purchase of tailoring materials such as;vitenge, zips, polyester, sewing threads, soft canvas, buttons, belting materials, plain, checked and shining materials for suits. This will help in meeting the anticipated high demand of my products in the month of December and it will also be in line with my planned expansion of the business.
