I am married with seven childrens who is in school. I live in Kabazi shopping center which is about 35 km from Nakuru town along Nakuru-subukia highway. I live in plot number 104 at Kabazi shopping center but I operate my business in Nakuru town . My occupation is a canteen an shop, also I am also a member of Bahati self help group, I have a general knowledge.
MY BUSSINESS IS A CANTEEN AND A SHOP
I have a shop and canteen in Nakuru town, which is located opposite pinkam house at 3NS travelers. I started my business in the year 2006 after the stage started operating. They is a lot of demand of the product such as soda because of more passengers increasing day by day also the stage is located in strategic position thus making it more popular,
In the stage there is few shop and canteen along these area thus I will able to catch more customer. The business will be profitable because the product I will get from our nearby town (Nakuru) and the mean of transport is good and I will sell the quality product at favorable cost. I wanted to purchase refrigerator to meet the demand of my customer. The risk facing the business is theft due to insecurity during the night.
My typical monthly cost is khs 100000, sale revenue is around ksh 40000 and profit is above 50000 but I am planning to earning more.
Thank you Zidisha through and all my lenders for this far you have uplifted my business. My grocery has been doing very well with a good profit margin that has enabled me to repay my previous loans in advance.I am applying for this third loan in order to upgrade my business. We are heading to the good harvesting season and am planning if i can get more capital i can buy enough food grains that is, maize and beans which are the main staple food in Kenya. Am planning to buy about 20 bags of beans which can cost 60,000 and 50 bags of maize which will cost about 150,000. Some of the cereal products i will repack and resell in my grocer shop while the rest will be stored to be sold later when the prices hikes.
Am also planning to add one more dairy cow for my wife because i have been getting good profit from the previous cows. kindly continue supporting me to achieve my goals.
God bless zidisha.
