My anme is Mary Ngari Kenga, am a resident of mtwapa, and a businesswoman as well. Am a married woman with five children. I live in mtwapa with my whole family. My educational background is class eight in Mwandaza primary school. My first born is a boy aged seventeen years old and is in form two. the second is thirteen years old and is in class six here in mtomondoni primary school. the third is twelve years old and in class five, the fourth is ten years old and in class four, and my last born is one year old. According to my education level i could not get a reasonable job that could sustain my family needs. So i had to turn to business as this was the best alternative.I started a local restaurant which i started at my residential house. With this business life started to have meaning to as i could now meet my family needs. This business did very well and i had to expand the business premises and i now have a big restaurant. With the money that i get from this i buy food for my family, pay school fees, and invest back to the business as a way of expanding the business
My business is a restaurant, his business is situated in mtwapa area. This business is in a vey potential area and i have ready customers. My customers are mostly my tenants, as i have my own house with tenants, and also my neighbors. This business is profitable and i get an income of ksh 30,000 per month after my expenses. Risks in this business include rainny season, which is a big challenge to my business as most of mt customers rely on regular jobs which are hard to find during rainny seasons. With my earnings i use khs 10,000 paying school fees, ksh 5,000 for buying family food. And ksh 5,000 for my family expenses. So i save ksh 10,000 per month which i can use to rep[ay my loan.
thank you so much zidisha team. am much proud of you. with this being my first loan from your organization am going to use this amount of money on the expansion of my local restaurant here at mtwapa. by using a little amount on renovating my restaurant. then use the rest of the amount on buying items like wheat flour maize flour cocking oil and some potatoes that i will keep them on my restaurant as my stock to cock and sell to my clients. this will boost my business and raise my daily income
