My name is Andra and I was born in Dimawarsa, Kuantan Singingi District, Riau Province. I went to a local school from elementary to high school in Taluk Kuantan. There are many palm oil plantations in my area, and my family live there to work on the family farm. My father died from a disease that was difficult to treat, so right now, I'm currently living with my mother and my two sisters, who are strong to keep up with the daily life and provide meal for their children. Because of my mother, I was able to graduate with an associate degree in Computer. I live an area with diverse ethnicities, races, and cultures. People who live here also hold many beliefs: Islam, Christian, Buddhist, Hindu. I live in a tropical area and the land is very fertile here. Rubber trees and palm trees thrive well here.
My Business
I will pay the loan through the freshwater pond business I have developed. I promise to refund it on time and I will take advantage of the loan to develop freshwater aquaculture for catfish and tilapia fish. I need approximately US$170 (or Rp. 1,700,000.00) to buy fingerlings and fish heed. Alhamdulillah, for every harvest I make, I could make around US$800 to US$1500 (or Rp.8,000,000.00 to Rp.15,000,000.00) depending on the type of seeds and the number of seeds sown into the pond. Loan Proposal
I will use most of the loan from Zidisha to buy Nile Tilapia and Catfish seeds. About US$300 (Rp.3,000,000) and US$200 (Rp.2,000,000) will be used to buy food and fish medicine.
