About Me

I grew up in Nairobi and in a broken family. My life has been characterised with hard work and struggle alike` over the` years. After High school years, it took me 10 years to join college due to lack of school fees. In this time I engaged myself with low income employment which I later left to start a small Ladies clothes business in Nairobi with minimal capital.

The business would later close down because the capital could not sustain the business. I went back to school and took a degree which has since helped me to get a job though not so well paying.

I own a saloon car which I hire out for Taxi business since 2013 January but has been grounded for the last 4 months. With some loan amount I am able` to fix the car and get it back to business. I also have a vision of buying yet another car for hiring services as I am a the sole bread winner of my family.

The special thing about Ngong town where I live is that there are plenty of business opportunities as the population and infrastructure there are growing very fast.

I have a passion for doing business and look forward to a time when my business can sustain itself and be a stable source of my family income.

In my free time, I love to cook and to socialize. Counselling is also something I love to do especially among the youth. It gives me such joy and fulfillment to see young people transition into responsible young adults.

My Business

I offer car for hire as a taxi and the services are on high demand in my area of operation. Many people live in interior places where there are no transport vehicles and there by the creation of taxi service demand.

The business generates ksh. 800 per day when the car has no mechanical issues.

I chose to engage` in the bussiness because I had the car in my posession and I did not need to do it my self but could trust an ope`rator with the car while I engage with other responsibilities.

I have been able to pay school fees for me and my family using the revenue. I am now undertaking my graduate studies and I hope to complete studies with the revenue I generate from this business.

Loan Proposal

I will use the loan to purchase 3 Nissan N16 bearings worth US $28 each.

Other Items needed are; 4 tyres worth US$ 67 each, 3 engine sensors costing US$ 100.

With the above items I will be able to have the car back on business and therefore pay for school fees more comfortably for my family.
The business can give me an income of 800 Ksh per day.
