My name is Antony Ndegwa of Eldoret town, Uasin-Gishu County, Munyaka Estate in Kenya. I am 41 years old, married with three daughters aged between 6 and 13. I am a welder fitter by profession with a diploma in welding and fitting work from R.V.T.T.I. Eldoret. I also have a certificate in tailoring and knitting work. I have been in this business for more than 10 years working diligently and focusing on my business success. My goal is to one day have a factory of my own and create employment opportunity in my county, especially for the youth who are suffering from unemployment.
My business is making school uniforms and knitting. I sell my products wholesale. This business is good because school uniforms in Kenya are compulsory. I normally buy the material of high quality and affordable price at a local factory and also from Nairobi. This allows me to sell my products at a competitive price within the county at wholesale price. I work with youth with special needs. I train them in knitting and tailoring. My center is registered under the Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Development as a self help group in a name faith of good hope (FAGOHO). This year, 2016, we have had 15 trainees doing tailoring and knitting.
Dear Zidisha Team lenders, I wish to thank you for accepting me as Zidisha borrower and creating the noble platform for borrowing . I have been given a order form institution to supply security pullovers with logo 200 pcs . i was not in position to rise the capital to service this order. But this loan from Zidisha will complete my capital deficits were by 80 dollars will be used in material buying and 30 dollars will go to labour .this will help me make a profit of more than 45%.
Thank you esteemed lender for supporting my ongoing project ,God bless you .
