Hi, Thank you for supporting my journey and business, My name is Caren Chepkorir, most people call me Chep its a short form of Chepkorir. I am 25 years old, We are six children in the family, three are girls and three are boys, Am the second born. My mother passed on two years ago, My mother was a single mother, I had to work hand in hand with my elder brother to take care of the siblings, I started selling charcoal and potatoes to make ends meet, Its from the business that i gained interest to move out of the village and start a grocery business in town, Later on i secured a loan from a bank and started a shop. I also joined college where i took business management to gain knowledge on how to run and manage the business. When i had of zidisha i became anxious to join hopping to expand my knowledge and gain experience. I thank you all for support and my plan is to expand my shop and make more profit to sustain my siblings.
My business is to sell food stuffs and vegetables, I hope to secure the loan to expand my business and make more profit.
My business has grown since i started, with zidisha am sure i will manage to expand and also serve my customers demand.
The business is already on and i would like to add stock as a way to meet my customers demand, I plan to buy three sacks of charcoal due to demand during this cold rainy season. I normally buy at 12 us d and sell at 18 us d making a profit of 6 us d from each sack of charcoal.
