Meshach Adjei Okyere is my name. I am 30 years old from Apam in the central region of Ghana.
I was raised from a large family size of 16 siblings. My father was a chief fisherman and had more than a single wife. My mother was the fist but he had four extra wives who lived in he same compound house.
My father was not a lover of education since he needed his children especially the boys to help him at sea.
His famous quotes was " why should I employ people to work for me and pay them while I have men t home".
Notwithstanding through the effort of my mom I managed to get Junior High School education but with some risk.
Either I am late for school because my father's boat has arrived from sea or right after school I have to go to the sea shore and work.
I completed JHS and my dad said it enough he is giving out a boat to me but I will have to learn from senior fishermen before it becomes mine. I told him I want to go to SHS and further my education but he said not a dime of his money will go to that waste!
Fast forward through challenging moment my mom assisted I managed to complete Shs with good results.
I did business and right after school I entered into the field very eager to make difference.
I currently own a hardware shop where I sell building materials.
I sell building materials of all types in my shop for the past 5 years now.
My shop is part of only three shops in the area that sell building materials.
I have two sales agent who help me sell and 4 labourers who help in off loading bags of cement and other goods from the truck.
I own a store and sell all kinds of building materials in it.
I want to use this money to get more goods and sell toy customers.
