About Me

Am Mercy Cheboyo, married and blessed with two children. One in a national high school in form two and the other is primary school in grade three. (Both are girls). I and my family we live In Nakuru county in shabab area Maganjo building next to municipal market ground. I am a business lady where am working in my Boutique. Actually I have done upto Secondary school as my highest level of education. This wasn't my wish but due to financial issues at our home and my younger brothers and sisters who were in school it made me to stop there so that I can minimize the burden to my parents to support the others. After my school I started selling Mitumba clothes since my father gave me small capital to start what I want in order not to rely on them, Afterwards God blessed my Mutumba business(Selling second hand clothes) and I started mixing with new clothes upto these point I normally deal with new clothes only which help me to support my family in basic needs.

My Business

As I stated in about my self, am a business lady where I have a boutique. I normally deal with mens wear, Women's wear and baby wear. I normally buy my goods in Nairobi Eastleigh Area which are new these helps me since I get them at a lower price in wholesale and sell them one by one hence able to make profit which enable me to pay revenue, catter for my basic needs and remain with my business running. If now I get this loan I will be able to increase my stock a specially heavy clothes especially these rainy season which are on demand hence it's my prayer that I get these loan

    Dear Lenders,

It seems a data entry error was made to Ms. Mwihaki's account in March, where her payment of KES 1000 was entered twice by mistake. Once this issue is resolved, you may see a negative payment entry on your balance. We apologize in advance for this inconvenience!

    Thank you,
    Bayle, Zidisha Team

    Dear Ms. Mercy Mwihaki,
It is most impressive that you continue to make loan payments after your difficulties. You are a woman of your word.

Were you able to secure insurance reimbursement for your losses?
    Write when you can.
    Marvin

Dear Mercy: It must have been a difficult time for you following the fire at your premises and it may take some time to get your business back up to speed. In the circumstances, it makes sense to reschedule your loan, and in any case, I am sure that you will continue to do your best. Good luck with the business.

Due to the circumstances that got me as i explained to you earlier will net be able to continue paying 2,813 every month installment and instead i wish to make it Ksh. 1000 every month which will help me to recover on the side without disappointing my lenders although it was not my wish to pay that loan for a long period, I believe you will get my apology well. Thank you.

on 7th of July fire broke out at my shop which caused me to lose almost all of my stock which i had stocked in the shop. am currently waiting for the insurance to compensate me and until then will i be in a position to continue with my business.
the month of may and June business has been quite low which has led to stock not moving on the shelves.
kindly bear with me but i assure you that by the time am back on my feet again, ill ensure i settle my account so as to continue getting financial support from you.

Dear Mercy: We were so sorry to hear about the fire at your business. A fire is a devastating and frightening event, but you have not said that you or anyone else was hurt, so at least that is something to be thankful for. Nevertheless it must be a worrying time for you. Please keep us informed about how you get on with the insurance company and when you expect to be able to reopen your business. Best wishes, Hugh
