i was born in nairobi county. When I was young we used to go to school with my siblings and life was exciting with full of great future expectation. Though within nairobi life ws difficult as we grew up. I later worked in different jobs and saved money to start my small business which I have expand to date. My future dreams is to open my own firm.
I sell mobile phones and memory cards, I buy them at wholesale prices and sell at retail prices making a profit. Initially i started by selling memory cards because it require less capital and gradually expanded to selling mobile phones. After completing my vocational sponsorship finding a good job was a problem most of the jobs were paying very little and that is when I saved money and started selling phones. My biggest challenge has been accessing capital to expand the business. I do not have specific customer, because I sell to everyone who needs my products but mostly youth form a huge customer base. I want to save money from my business and start a firm dealing with mobile phone repair. It's through this business I'm living a relatively good life in Nairobi.
I want to buy 5 more phones each costing ksh 3000 to increase on my stock of 6 phones. I want to buy different brands of mobile phones this will help I to reach more customers because taste and preferences are different from one customer to another. Selling many brand of mobile phones will help boosting my sale and profit margins. Through the loan I will buy more phones which will translate to high income levels for me and better life for my family.
