I was born and raised in Nyakach district of Kisumu county. I did both my primary and secondary education there before moving to Nairobi where am doing my business. I like the most challenging things in life such as solving puzzles and playing games. I also like reading novels and watching the movies. In my business, I have been able to have a source of income to support myself and my family. My desire is to grow my business in a level to offer employment to others.
My line of business is the selling of white meat to hotels and individual consumers. I sell both fish and chicken at the city market in Nairobi's central business district located in biashara street. The future of this market is bright going by the constant growth in the demand I have witnessed in the past period of time being promoted by the campaigns against the heavy consumption of the red meat on health grounds.
I am looking for $150 to stock my shop with the fresh fish for supply to the hotels and individual customers. By using that amount, I would be able to get a net profit of $100 which I would plug back to the business even as I repay the loan on a weekly basis. This will benefit me by having the much needed capital to grow the business and also through the experience I already have in the business together with the ready market I have in hotels, my lenders are assured of the timely payment.
