About Me

Hello Lenders,My name is Jane Wanjiru,31 years old from Kenya.Am a young entrepreneur doing cosmetic and beauty.Being the first born in a family of five children and being raised by a single mum hasn't been easy.it has taken me some years to be able to raise some cash for me to do this business.Before I started doing this business I was employed as bookshop attendant.This is where I got business skills and also secured some cash to start up this business. First I used to hawk around to my friends since I was doing it part time because my salary wasn't enough to help mum bring up other siblings at home and for my upkeep.I hustled along and managed to save some cash where I enrolled at Kenya institute of management and did my certificate in business Management. Due to lack of cash I did not manage to go to the next level and so I decided to stick to my business of hawking the cosmetic accessories. at first it wasn't easy since I used to sell most of my products on credit where some of my customers did not pay on time agreed and others didn't pay at all.I perservered until I managed to secure a small store at Kirigiti shopping center which is along Ruiru -kiambu Road.

My Business

I started this business with a capital of ksh.10 thousand ie after securing a store.In the First month my returns were so minimal being a new business in the area and having random customers.after some month am now able to account for my revenue which is growing gradually as I have frequent customers and am able to add my stock as I add more new products depending on my customers demand.currently, my stock is worth around Ksh.15- 17 thousand,giving me returns of ksh3- 5thousand monthly.I thank God I can see the fruits of patience in business and hoping to do great as time goes by.

Project Proposal

Through the funding of this loan I will be able to add more stock to my shop.This will definitely attract more customers to my business since clients are attracted by what they see.thus I will also be able to add varieties of more softs drinks including the ones on the missing list but on demand.This will help my business to grow hence generate more revenue.
