About Me

My name is Fatima Yakubu from Aboabo in the Ashanti Regional of Kumasi. My parents are Mr.and Mrs. Yakubu who are Ghanaians living in Aboabo, a suburb of Kumasi. I had my early education training at Aboabo Islamic primary and junior high school in Aboabo and Asokore Admadiyah Senior High School where i read General Science programme. I passed my final West African Senior School Certificate Examination and was admitted into nursing and midwifery training college a year after. The cost of nursing training education in Ghana is very expensive so when I got in there i decided to get something doing aside my academic work to support my parents take care of my educational expenses. I quickly spoke with my parents to offer me money to sell liquid soaps on campus because I realised it was one of the lucrative and income generating business i could do to quickly generate money to support myself in school.
I am an intelligent young businesswoman and a student nurse who sells liquid soaps to my colleague student to raise enough revenue to pay for my school fees and accommodation. I want my children to grow and become responsible and educated citizens so that they could grow and contribute their quota in the development of the nation.

My Business

I sell liquid soaps to students and the money been generated from this economic venture has been outstanding and has aided in the expansion of the business. I chose to sell liquid soaps because the students prefer it to other soap types and it gives me enough profit. Students need soap to bath and do other things. The revenue from the business has been very good and outstanding. 500 -600 dollars worth of liquid soaps can get me a profit of 90 dollars every week. The revenue from the business is re-invested into the business to enlarge it and make it attractive. Part of the profit is used to pay for my nursing training school fees and accommodation.

Loan Proposal

I will use the money to procure more liquid soaps to resell and generate enough revenue which will be reinvested into the business to grow it. Getting this loan will help my business to grow and see major face-lift so that i can get more revenue to settle my bills and school and improve my academic life on campus. This loan when granted will double my daily earnings and shoot up my revenue.
