About Me

I am Cromwell Priscilla from Ashanti-Mampong in Ashanti Region of Ghana. I was born and have lived all my life there. My parents are yam farmers who plants different varieties of yam every year to generate income for our living expenses and also pay our school fees. They have seven children in their name and am the second born. My parents have great passion for education even though, they are illiterate, that did not stop them from getting the best form of education for their children and they always advice us on the need to learn and work extra hard to achieve our aims in future. I attended St. Peters international school and graduated with distinction in the BECE.
I then enrolled at the Senior High School that same year to pursue General Science Programme. I did very well in the West African School Certificate Examination and was recognised by my school with a citation as one of the best female graduating student that year. After my SHS education i decided to pursue a career in the nursing profession because the government clinic in my hometown was under-staffed and people were dying from malaria expecially during the raining season. I was ambitious of becoming a nurse but my parents circumstances did not allow the to buy university forms that year because they are yam farmers and they encounters a heavy post harvest losses. I told my parents to get me some money to start a small business so that i could buy university forms and go to school the next year. The agreed and gave me money to start selling earrings, necklaces and ladies wears. I used to move from one house to another to see customers and those who wanted to buy the goods. I got enough money from this business and were able to buy the much anticipated university forms the following year
I am a nursing student at the University Of Health And Allied Science. I wanted to be a nurse upon realising the fact that Ghana has a lot of issues confronting effective health delivery not even in Ghana but African as a whole. We need people with knowledge and technical know to confront these problems head on and look at the possible ways of addressing these challenges to ensure quality health delivery for all and sundry. I have plans of setting up my own clinic to give people better and quality health care and i have also joined an association made up of health professionals with the sole aim of educating the people about some of the risky thing that put ones health in danger and how to prevent diseases.

My Business

I sell earrings, ladies wear and make-ups to students expecially female students to raise more revenue to take care of my educational expenses notably tuition fees and my accommodation. My aim of being a nurse is threatened if i am unable to raise money for the payment of my academic and residential fees in the university.
I am an ambitious student who seeks perfection in everything i do and this has really helped me. Through hard-work and perseverance, i am of the firm believe that i will graduate and help my people to access the best of health care in the country and to achieve this vision i need money to pay my tuition fees to keep myself in school. Payment of tuition fees has been my worry and is having an impact on my education because i have to sometimes skip lectures in order to search for money to pay my tuition fees. When this loan is granted to me, i will procure more goods to sell and reinvest the interest in the business and channel some in clearing my school debt.

Loan Proposal

I will use the loan to buy more beauty products such as make-ups, earrings, necklaces and many others. I will sell this goods to generate revenue which will be reinvested into the business to grow it larger. I need about 410 dollars to buy more of these products so that maximum profits could be realised. This will help me to get money to clear my tuition fees and also afford me money to pay for my university accommodation. Thank you.
