My Story
About me
I am Alex Wangu, Kenyan living in Kinangop, Nyandarua County. I am a first born in a family of five (5). I completed my secondary education and did not join college due to lack of finances since my parents were unable to raise my college fees due to economic problems.
My parents live in a two acre piece of land which they depend on mainly crop and livestock farming, therefore, after my secondary education I did not join college since my parents had the burden of raising my siblings who are behind me, cater for their education, health and other basic needs. Due to that incident, I had to engage myself in business.
I am single where I have rented a house in Engeneer Town. On monthly basis, I am required to cater for my business, pay rent and also pay my house rent.
My Business
My business is second hand cloths and bags two (2) years ago whereby. The business makes a profit which atleast caters to pay for my rents. Monthly, I make a profit of about $20.
In our locality, being smart and they hate monotony thus my business.
I enjoy my mutumba business since I spend about $60 a month in paying the premises rents, 35 in paying my hose rent, $150 increasing and bringing more goods, and get about $340 per month a profit of atleast $200 per month.
I use 50% of my profit to educate and raise my children as well as supporting my other siblings and parents, 30% to maintain and improve my business and the rest which is 20% as my savings.
