My name is Malik Benjamin. I come from Berekum in the Brong and Ahafo region of Ghana. I am 24 years old. I started my basic education at Ameyawkrom District assembly primary school in the western region of Ghana. After basic school, I continued my education at Berekum methodist junior high school in the year 2007 . After the final examination, I got an admission to Okomfo Anokye senior high school In the Ashanti region of Ghana in the year 2010. For all this while, my father was the one taking care of me. Unfortunately my father passed away in that same year and so I had no other option than to quite school and help my mum. Since I was the only one with my mother by then. From then I had to help some people in their farms in other to get food for my self and my mother. In the year 2011, I explained my problem to an elder in my church. That is church of Pentecost Nyamebekyere local Berekum. He also forwarded the issue to the church members n they helped me to further my education to the senior high school in the year 2011. By God's grace I completed in the year 2014 but due to some problems our papers were cancelled. Since then I have been in de house helping people in their farms for a living. I now want to register in a private senior high school in other to continue my education.
My business is a small shop. I sell seasonal movies. The shop was given to me by a nabourhood friend who has gotten an admission to a tetiarry institution. He inherited it from his uncle who is currently dead. When I got the shop, I decided to consider so many factors to find out what I can do in the shop. I realised that since we are living in a rural area, there is no entertainment here with the exception of watching of football matches and movies. This idea encouraged me to sell seasonal and local movies.i started with seasonal movies but currently I'm adding local Ghanaian movies to the seasonal movies since customers have been demanding it recently.
At first I use to go for the movies from a brother who does the same job but Currently, my first and second loan has helped me to go for the movies myself from Kumasi in the Ashanti region of Ghana. Now I m applying for another loan in other to buy more seasonal and local movies to fill the shop and also start preparations towards adding a barbering salon to my video shop since Im good at barbering too, renovate my shop and also buy a walking stick for my mother since she is now old and can not walk well.
If I'm able to raise this loan to invest in my business. It will help me to earn enough profit to cater for myself and mother in other to achieve my aspirations in life.
.
I would be very grateful if you would kindly grant me a loan to buy more seasonal movies to fill my shop. I will use all the 476GHS to buy seasonal movies to fill my shop in other to ern more profit. The cost price for one CD is $0.522. N a sell it at $0.78. So my profit for selling one CD is $0.26. When I use the 476Ghs to purchase CD's, I will get about 237 CD'S. when I sell all, my profit will be about $61.62 which will help me to further my education and also cater for my mother. Thank you.
