About Me

My name is Joyce Banda. I come from Petauke District of Zambia, Eastern Province. I grew there until relocated to Kitwe Copperbelt of Zambia in Racecourse town ship.
I did my primary school at Petauke Day and completed at Kitwe Secondary School in Kitwe. Am married and I have 3 children.
Am a teacher by profession. Am working as a teacher and I handle primary level education. I earn a monthly salary.
Over years have been working hard believing in myself that one day I will achieve important life goals. considering my responsibility at the moment.
I have engaged myself in entrepreneurship business.
I have a business which am running to help me with additional income to supplement for school fee and home wise. I have raising some money through my monthly salary and that has helped me to reestablish the business. Our land is rich in natural resources such the tourist attraction like the Victoria falls, wide life and the mining industry. I wish my children some to become medical doctors and engineers. I my hobbies are; I love swimming, watching football and reading novel books.

My Business

Am involved in hair saloon business. I provide services of plating hair, beautifying, nail making for ladies, nail polishing, face make ups and many more when required by my customers.
Mainly that is how I do earn extra income or additional income beside my formal job working as a teacher. I have passion for hair dressing business, I started this business when I was a small girl. I was taught by mother because she loved hair dressing and trained me how to do it and I have perfect and today am enjoying it and therefore earning good income out of it. Yes I have demand because I offer good services and ladies nowadays want to look elegant and hence they come at my shop. I have so far invested a sum of K 25,000.00 in my saloon business and per week I make K 5000.00, hence I want to grow this business the demand is now amazing making me think outside the box by injecting more working capital and modern saloon equipment's to standardize my services.

Project Proposal

Saloon business is now on demand in our community because most ladies want to look elegant. With the funds am applying for I want to buy the hair dryer, hair curlers, towels, hair straighteners, Mirrors, hair clippers, blow dryer, reception chairs and chairs and many more when required. These tools I need them in my shop to provide good services to the customers and meet their demand as they come for different services. Therefore, generate more money and expand the business.
