About Me

My name is Mary Bwalya and 24 years old Zambian by nationality. I went to school and completed my primary and high school in Kitwe.

When I obtained good results and I was selected to study medicine, but due to lack of money I could not manage to enrol as my parents did not have the money.


Currently am involved in a small business which is my livelihood and then I was introduced to Zidisha loans and got interested to apply for the loan.

My Business

Am involved in beauty parlour business, I have a salon shop in our community, I provide hair salon services to the people and demand for services is very high and I generate good income.

I choose this business because I have the passion for this business because I started when I was a small girl years back, over the years I have gained experience and I provide professional services to community and earn good profits.

The profits I make I use them to improve the living standard of my family, I save some funds for my tuition fee and buy some salon tools to use in my business.

Project Proposal

Am requesting for the loan to buy salon tools such , the hair driers, wig, dressing mirrors, chairs and some blowers to use at the salon.

I will attract more customers are attracted by these tools in the salon to beautify the hair to look nice, therefore I in return I will be earning a lot of money for the services provided to increase revenue.
