About Me

My name is Damaris Moraa, a very hardworking and ambitious lady, born and raised in a family of six being the second born. I was born in Borabi district, Nyamira county, Kenya.I went through Primary,Secondary and College level and holds Diploma in Fashion and Design. Due to financial constraints, I had no option but find a way of raising money to sustain my living within Nairobi city. I resorted to selling of fashionable ladies handbags. This is in a way self employment.
I am always a person of my own principles and go getter.

My Business

After completion of my diploma course in fashion and design, and considering the levels of poverty in Kenya, I had no option but start from somewhere, I believe in growth, and I approached a Aunt of mine who donated me 2000/- this enabled me purchase some handbags which sold well. I came across Zidisha through online platform as I was doing my research and was overwhelmed by the stories by members. I am here to request a loan that will enable me purchase extra handbags. The business is good and insatiable, my target group are Ladies in employment and I depend much on referrals from my satisfied clients.
With zidisha i will soon establish my own shop and increase sales.

Loan Proposal

As indicated in my business, I wish to ask lenders to fund me towards purchase of handbags.
I intend to use the amount advanced to me to add more handbags and use proceeds to repay the loan.
I pledge to maintain my reputation to the lenders for continuity.
