Kofiasua is where I was born and brought up. I attended Junior high School there and afterwards decided not to persue any formal education. I thought the only benefit one could get is money after school Apart from the store, I have a cocoa farm and a vegetable farm to support my family.we are three brothers and one sister.two of my brothers are both carpenters who are very hardworking and they assist me to caterfor our mother whom was devorced by our father for another woman. We have lived in harmony all this while. My mum had a cocoa farm that i have been taking care of for her to buy her own clothes and other basic things she needs.
I sell general goods like Tin Tomatoes, sugar, soaps. I chose this kind of business because I once visited a shop in Suyani that had general goods like my I could not believe my eyes the sort of customers who had queued to buy items. At the moment my capital is too small (ghc6000) business is very attractive expecially on Market days which is held every Tuesday. Market becomes so good because we do have people from most of the villages nearby to come and sell their foodstuffs and buy things for themselves in return.
I would like to buy 150 bags of long grain perfume rice each bag cost $17 a total $2250 a lot of customers like this type of rice, which will boost my profit level. I will buy 55 gallons of frytol cooking oil each gallon cost $7.2 a total of $396, most buyers like this type of oil. This will increase my profit level. I will buy 20 bags of indome total of $120 one cost $6 alot people cook it for their wards ,this will increase profit. I will buy 30 boxes of washing powder cost of $150, a box cost $5. My customers use it, 20 bags of sugar cost $320 a bag cost $16 Most consumers use it. This will increase my profit level and also benefit my community
