Hello Zidisha Lenders, My name is Joan Ngina. I am greatly honored to be part of this community.
I currently reside in Nairobi Kenya. I studied Marketing Management, Computer programming, Accountancy and eventually ventured into Culinary Arts which has always been my passion.
I started my Culinary Journey in the year 2014 as a Home Baker and Pastry Chef Trainer. The business picked up very well and thus decided to get a business premise away from home as I had ventured into commercial baking and my overall client base had increased.
However my business hit rock bottom in 2019 when the Corona Pandemic hit the country.
I faced financial difficulties as most Restaurants and Food handlers were banned from selling food in public places due to health issues.
However after the bans were lifted I used money that I had saved up as capital to bounce back into business. I set up a fully fledged restaurant which has been steadily growing.
My Business Proposal:
Now I happened to relocate from one County (Kajiado) to another (Nairobi) County.
The relocation means that I have to repay for my previous licences which I had already previously paid for and yet they hadn't expired. They are even costlier in Nairobi as this is an Urban City.
I am hoping to get financial support for this so that it enables me to continue with my business well without any constraints.
Hoping to hear from you soon.
Thank you.
I was forced by circumstances that caught me off guard to relocate to a different County thus having to move my business too.
I had already paid for my licences in the previous county but I am now forced to renew afresh.
This funds will therefore go a long way into enabling me sustain the business.
