My name is Ebenezer Boakye from Ejisu -Kumasi in the Ashanti Region of Ghana. My parents are Ghanaians and they both hail from Ejisu. They are farmers and have eight children together as couples. I am the second born of the eight kids.
I started school at Ejisu M/A primary and junior high school, where I had my early educational training. My performance in the Basic Education Certificate Examination was excellent and i got the opportunity to enrol at Agogo state college where i had my secondary school training. I worked very hard while in the school and i was given an award for my excellent performance in the West African Senior School Certificate Examination. I entered the university the following year and by God's grace am doing the best I could to get my university degree.
I am a very hardworking student who desires to be a business owner and i am very excited to partner with your microlending institution to make my dreams a reality.
The topmost problem i faced as a student is my problem in securing funds to pay my tuition fees due to which i am sometimes denied access to key faculty facilities.
This is impacting negatively on my studies and my progress as a student and i would be much grateful if you could help me out by offering me the loan to expand my business and make much out of it so that i can pay all my university fees and on time.
I sell second-hand school bags to my colleague students to help raise money for my educational cost and expenses. Students need bags to house their books and other belongings and they regularly buy new ones. The demand is very high and the business is in good shape.
The loan when given will afford me the opportunity to get access to key faculty installations so as to be in competition with others in terms of academics because I will acquire more goods to sell and generate enough money to take care of my school expenses. This will serve my needs in the educational institution and aid in my financial strength in the university so that i can progress and be an outstanding student. 400 -500 dollars worth of second hand bags can fetch me 100 dollars profit every week.
The revenue is reinvested in the business to grow it big.
The loan will be used to procure more second hand bags to resell in order to generate more revenue which would be reinvested into the business to grow it big and make the business more attractive. I need 550 dollars to get in stock enough second-hand bags to sell to my customers and make enough returns out of it so that I will get money to pay for my university tuition fees and accommodation.
This will benefit myself and my siblings because I will get money to finance my educational cost and also support my parents in the payment of the school fees of my other siblings. When the loan is given to me, it will help my earnings to go up on daily basis because I will buy more goods to resell and make more revenue.
Thank you.
