About Me

My name is Eunice I was named after my grandmother who really had a passion for fruits and vegetables. She had large scale farming of fruits. I grew up with my grandmother because my mother was still a student when she had me. I went to primary school in my neighbourhood and other students used to make fun of me because i did not know my father and i lived with my grandmother. This made me to hate school and i performed poorly until i was discontinued from school. I stayed at home for five years and it reached a time i realised that i needed to do a job in order to make a living because my aging grandmother was becoming very sickly. I decided to take over the fruit planting and make a profit out of it in order to get my grandmother a good medical care. My hobby is singing and dancing. The production of fruits is what i find unique in our land because the rain pettern is not predictable and it is almost a dry land.

My Business

I deal with the fruit business where i sell vegetables like cabbage, kales and fruits like pawpaw, tomatoes, bananas, watermelons and oranges. I supply to all the markets around our town and the nearest towns too. This goods are important because they are food. They are a source of vitamins of various classes and kinds. Fruits and vegetables generally form an important part of our diet to help in digestion and protection of our bodies. I sell this per kilogram. After a sell i get an income of about 20 us dollars per day. I use the money to buy fertilisers, pay the workers, buy water for irrigation and to buy the fruits to plant. I also provide our food and daily needs and cater for my grandmother's medical care. At the end of it all i get to save about 2 us dollars per day.

Loan Proposal

I wish to be given a loan of 7 us dollars that i will combine with my savings so that i can be able to replace my water pump which broke last week. The water pump is worth 25us dollars. With it, we are able to pump water from the storage tanks into the sprinklers in order to irrigate the land. I expect the drop in income now to go back to normal once i replace the pump and i will be able to save money again and repay the loan.
