I studied at a local school in Eldoret by the name Soy Academy with my mum being the sole provider. School fees was quite a struggle but I managed to acquire a bursary from the CDF which helped me through to High School. I went on to study electrical engineering at a university in Nairobi, which I am still in at the moment.<input name="aboutMeTimestamp" type="hidden"><input name="aboutMeTimestamp" type="hidden"><input name="aboutMeTimestamp" type="hidden"><input name="aboutMeTimestamp" type="hidden"><input name="aboutMeTimestamp" type="hidden"><input name="aboutMeTimestamp" type="hidden">
My business is an entertainment business. I gain my income through a football show hall where people pay in order to watch live football matches. There are many football fans in the area where I opened the business and that makes it quite a success. The profits I get from the business goes to the growth of the business and I use a small percentage for my accommodation. I chose this business because I realized that the residents of that particular area travelled some kilometers in order to get a place where they could watch their favourite teams play. The profits I reap from this business are approximately $90 per week which makes it around $350 per month. Since it's still a developing business, most of my profit are channeled towards improving the business. I use around $200 each month in ensuring the comfort of my customers by improving the seats and the hall in general. The other $150 are used for my tuition fees and accommodation. My plans are to widen the scope of my entrepreneurship and at least employ a few people in order to improve their lives too since I come from a region that has got unemployment painted all over it. Hopefully the Zidisha team will play a role in the pursuit of my dreams. Thank you in advance.<input name="aboutBusinessTimestamp" type="hidden"><input name="aboutBusinessTimestamp" type="hidden"><input name="aboutBusinessTimestamp" type="hidden"><input name="aboutBusinessTimestamp" type="hidden"><input name="aboutBusinessTimestamp" type="hidden"><input name="aboutBusinessTimestamp" type="hidden">
Hallo lenders. First of all I would like to thank you for your support thus far. I am asking for your help again, this time with my tuition fees. With the semester coming to an end, I will soon be sitting for my exams. But the university requires me complete the full amount before I am allowed to sit in an examination room. My remaining tuition fee is Ksh.23,500 that's an equivalent of $240. My business is doing well but I cannot raise the full amount once since my earnings per week are less. I have been paying the fees on a monthly installment but I won't be able to complete the remaining $240 before the exam day. My exams will start on 29th May but the fees should be fully repaid a few days before then. I am asking for your help in this difficult situation and I promise to repay the loan on time. Thank you.
