About Me

My name is Magret Phiri I am a 30 year old female who resides in Lusaka Zambia shantumbu chalala. I have a husband and 5 children whom I support entirely. I have a small farm that I started about 5 years ago when I first acquired some personal land of my own. I am a small scale commercial farmer, for 5 years I haven't been in any formal employment but my crops have been able to sustain my household together with paying of school fees of all of my 5 children.

My Business

I am a small scale farmer. I grow various crops which include vegetables and maize which I sale to marketers and also for home consumption. My business has been sustaining my family for 5 years now and I am happy to say that it has been sustaining my household financially.

Loan Proposal

With this loan I am applying for I intend on renting a ploughing truck so that it can make the job much easier for me as I am currently clearing more land to plant more crops. If the truck ploughs the land it will make planting much easier for me. Killing 2 birds with one stone

Income Source

Yes businesses does face risks. But with the current covid-19 people usually choose to buy produce locally from where they know. Most of my clients simply call me and I do house deliveries for the vegetables they need at that particular time. Making it rare for me to not have any business
