I am Ruth Nangila, born in Bungoma but later my father was transfered to Nakuru county where we started a new life. I completed my school here and started doing farming and I later started my business of selling second hand clothes, shoes and curtains. The business is still young and am working hard to see it succeed into a large business.
A part from my business am also active member in my church where I serve as the secretary in church youth, I do also engage in charity by giving back to the community in the best way that I can.
My business operates from family premises where I have partitioned and live behind. This is meant to reduce cost of operation. I buy secondhand clothes in wholesale and sell at a profit. the profit i make is taken back to grow my business. currently I have a small stock and with the old sewing machine I have, I want to have it repaired so that I can also offer tailoring services.
This business has changed my life to the better since now i can comfortably take care of my needs. There are challenges like in any other business but I always ensure that I overcome them by giving my best.
I first want to thank you lenders for having enabled me positively change my business and the effect has been felt not only to my business but also to my family. With my new loan, I will relocate my business to new stalls now near completion around and fully booked. I have booked one stall at cost of Ksh3000 (USD 30) Upon completion, I will move in and do some few adjustment on the outside and also inside. The new stalls are in a strategic point and I do hope to take this advantage. The total cost has rough estimate of Ksh 40,000 (USD 400) and this is hoped to improve on my income and also my young family.
