About Me

I am a married woman with four children. I live in BONDO Town to the East of Migingo Open Air Market. I am learned up to Form Four {K.C.S.E} level. I was prompted to start my personal business because salary from employment was inadequate to
sustain the family and meet other financial obligations. I use the money earned from the business for paying school fees for my children, turning around the business and general maintenance of the family. I desire to improve and expand the business and hence i would be grateful if i am granted the loan to enable me improve and expand the business. I therefore
undertake to repay the loan without defaulting

My Business

I own a personal Eye Design Optician Shop in Bondo Town, Siaya County Kenya. My business handles eye glasses and other medical equipments such as Refraction sets which is used for diagnosing clients with eye problems.There is high demand for my goods and services because it is one of it's kind in the area. My customers prefer my business to the competition because of my good customer care service. I also deliver the services at affordable rate and faster.The risk my business faces is very minimal since my goods are not
perishable and the security arrangement against theft is tight.My monthly cost is approximately Ksh 35,000.00 and sales revenue is about Ksh 60,000.00 which leaves me a profit of Ksh.25,000.00 per month.If I AM GRANTED THE LOAN, I WILL INVEST IT to improve and expand the
business to enable repay the loan without defaulting.

Loan Proposal

When i get the loan, i will spend it in purchasing a Refraction Set for diagnosing eye problems of my clients so as to dispense the right eye glasses for their usage. Since this is the back bone to my business, it will benefit the business by attracting more clients and putting more confidence in them to be attending to my Optician shop for the services.I will ensure that i stock eye glasses of various types so that my clients get the best of their choices under one roof.

Since the business is poised to expand under the Zidisha Inc Lending initiative, i will spend part of the money in Insurance policy to protect the business against Theft,Burglary and Fire.
