About Me

Hi Family,

My name is Boniface, Kenyan 29yrs old. I was born and raised by a single mother in a humble village in Gatundu.

In the year 2012 in got my toughest moments when I lost my Grandma and Mother, in January and May respectively, both of which had raised me as my parents and guardians. I was left with my sister with no source of income and I had just joined college.

By the Grace of God and well wishers, I cleared my college studies and graduated with my Diploma in Mass and Media communication. Through internships and volunteer programmes in the media industry, I gained experience in film and audio production.

I later got a job with a local film dubbing company as an office assistant. In two years everything was looking bright and I had risen from office assistant to a Sound Engineer and later to Operations Manager.

Trouble came early this year when the company was bought by new owners who had different a direction for the business. They moved to change the company from media content generation company to media marketing agency prompting a lay off of over 70% of employees who were technical oriented, I included.

I used my savings and grants to set up my own small dubbing studio.

My Business

My move to set my own dubbing studios was driven by my great love for media production since child hood, supported by the high viability of the business. I have been doing well handling local clients and offering employment to some of the immensely talented employees that were laid off from the previous company. I love the progress of my venture with the business averaging a net profit of 2000 USD per month.

However, I have started to gather interest from the major international brands to visit my business and for me to dub their content. While this is great news, it calls for me to restructure my business from a bedroom studio to a business premises and add more studios.

I will therefore appreciate every support from Zidisha family to facilitate my loan which will not only impact my business but directly offer employment to many needy youths, voice actors and technicians, with great proven talents but no where to apply it.

Loan Proposal

As I am looking to move my film dubbing into higher levels, I will combine this loan with my savings as I continue to source for funds to more studio.
