I am a single mother of three kids who are all in school. The eldest is at college level, while the rest are in High School. Both are doing well in school, and I've much hope in them. I own a mid-range hotel in Nairobi, Kenya. I borrowed a loan from Equity Bank in 2013, and ventured into the food industry. This was immediately after my husband passed away. At the time, I was just a house-wife who had no job. This was so because I had no certificates to even start seeking a job with. I started off with a small-size hotel, that had only two waiters and two chefs. The same business did well, enabling me to develop it even much further. It would also enable me to pay for all my children's school fees, and I'm happy with the progress so far. I'd leave my assistant in charge of the hotel, and learn all computer packages. I also did a course in driving and music instruments. I am still yet to make use of what I've learned during the previous years. The hotel's performance is average, with some ups and downs, time after time.
My hotel does exceptionally average. At times, we may be faced with loads of problems, and during other times, we're doing perfect and earning big. After paying my workers, I usually remain with approximately $80 dollars in a day. Unfortunately, we've been closed for the last one week, since I've not paid the revenue dues. I've never failed to pay, or even paid late. But at this time, I've been having lots of problems, having completed my loan payment last month and paying for all my kids' school fees the same month. This includes even meeting other expenses such as pocket money, rent and food.
I'll make use of this whole loan to immediately clear my revenue dues. This will get my hotel back alive and back to its top notch performance. I'll use part of my weekly earnings to pay for this loan, and develop the hotel even much further. This includes even purchasing new furniture and an entertainment set. I also plan to add the number of waiters and chefs to enhance smoothness and efficiency in the running of the hotel. I'll appreciate very much.
