I AM A FIFTH BORN OF A FAMILY OF FIFTEEN CHILDREN. I GREW UP IN A HUMBLE AND POOR BACKGROUND. I PASSED MY HIGH SCHOOL EXAMS AND WAS ABLE TOP JOIN UNIVERSITY, TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY OF KENYA. I AM CURRENTLY PURSUING AN ELECTRICAL; AND ELECTRONICS DEGREE COURSE. TO BE ABLE TO SURPLUS MY SCHOOL FEES AND MY DAY TO DAY SUSTAINABILITY, I WAS ABLE TO START A rabbit rearing BUSINESS ,THIS IS BECAUSE I HAD A PERSION FOR ANIMAL IN MY LIFE I HAVE BEEN REARING CHICKEN AND I DECIDED THIS NEW BECAUSE OF ITS DEMAND. THE BUSINESS`S PROFITS ARE USED IN PAYING MY SCHOOL FEES PARTLY AND ALSO PAYING COMMUTATION FEE.
THE FARM IS LOCATED AT MY HOME PLACE.IT IS IN NAIROBI IN A SLUM VILLAGE I STAY I WAS ABLE TO ACQUIRE A SMALL PORTION OF PLOT SINCE IT REQUIRE SMALL SPACE AND I BUILT A HOUSE AND AROUND THERE I WAS ABLE TO PLANT VEGETABLES FOR IT AS SURPLUS FOR FOOD.IT IS ALSO NEAR RIVER NAIROBI THEREBY MAKING IT EASY TO CLEAN AND MANAGE.THIS BUSINESS CAME TO MIND DUE TO DEMAND OF EXTRA MEAT AND ITS BENEFITS.RABBIT REARING REQUIRE MINIMAL LABOUR COMPARED TO OTHERS.IT ALSO CONVENIENT SINCE I CAN DO MY SCHOOL STUFF AFTER FEEDING THEM AND DONE WITH CLEANLINESS
i want to use this coming loan on expansion and improve the housing of my rabbits also i intend to enroll for a weekly seminar on livestock rearing because i intend to rear broiler chickens and also to create awareness o eating white meat because they are healthy and sweet thus creating diversity o food
