I am a father of three kids and a farmer from Eldama Ravine in Baringo County. I do farming since it has been done for time immemorial from days of our forefathers.
My business deals with Rabbit keeping. Rabbit meat is the most sough after meat in high end hotels due than red meat. The demand is very high cause customers come for them and also urine is part of the by product I sell for killing weeds by organic practicing farmers. My weekly sales averages Ksh 20,000 with a net margin of Ksh 7,000.
I deal with rabbit keeping for commercial purposes and also, I sell urine as a byproduct. Rabbit keeping is gaining popularity in kenya as demand for white meat is growing exponentially due to its health benefits.
Covid19 has been a tough disease worldwide and we are shocked by the same. Businesses have been interrupted by the same, but we do observe regulations given by the government entities as we do our business
